The room was getting colder and colder every second. "And I think she's trying to freeze us in ice. The room's getting colder, and the floor's growing ice" I said. And yes, the floor was actually growing ice. I couldn't move my legs, nor could Cassius. And the ice was only growing around us. But then, everything blacked out...

One night, the ice melted. The house was full of dust and cobwebs. It looked like Cassius had actually broken free. I went outside, and everything seemed almost the same. I went to the castle, and the doors were still glowing by the looks of it. I went to the mansion, and it had dust and cobwebs as well. I saw a newspaper on the table in the drawing room. I looked at it, and the date said "April 9th, 2024". Dad and Enderitha had been married for 50 years now.
