“I’m not lying! It’s just like a sport, you can get hurt, just nobody actually gets hurt for real!”
“But they can feel the pain still!”
“Stop arguing!” Jason raised his voice. “How can I make a decision when you both are arguing like a married couple?”
Tasha and Kara quieted down.
“Thank you,” Jason said. “I need more time to think though. I’m going to gather you two back again when I’ve made my decision.”
“Take your time,” Tasha told him.
“Try and make the decision as fast as you can,” Kara said defiantly.
“Don’t worry,” Jason said, trying to leave as fast as possible. Once he got outside, he heard Tasha and Kara start arguing again.
“Jason!” someone called from the birch forest. It was Aaron.
“Oh hey, Aaron!” Jason said, letting his mind take the spotlight off of the decision. “How have you been?”
“Pretty good. Woke up super early to explore a little bit. I went to find a village or something. Just something to do while I waited for everybody else to wake up,” Aaron said, coming closer to Jason and standing next to him while they walked. “Have you seen the others?”
“I saw Kara and Tasha, I haven’t seen Ash though.”
“Hm. I don’t know where he is then.”
