Jason liked the idea of a war, but at the same time, Kara brought up good points. It might have been fun and no one would actually be hurt, considering it was all a simulation, but pain was still a real thing in the simulation. Anyone could feel pain when they fell, fought monsters, or fought other people, so it felt like you were really dying.
He stepped back from Kara and Tasha. Kara had tried to warn him before Tasha came in to greet him, but was what Tasha was planning really that bad? Yes, everyone would feel pain from fighting, but they could respawn and nobody would be affected in real life, so what was the answer? It was hard to choose, since he’d been kind of going back and forth. He’d already told Tasha though he was willing to help and even after hearing the plan he said the exact same thing, but Kara told them that it would feel real and Tasha was basically causing a real war for no reason.
“Well?” Kara asked, her voice a bit higher pitched from the arguing.
“Jason, I’m not trying to kill anyone. Nobody’s going to get hurt, it’s just a thing to compete in, like a sport.”
“Tasha, don’t lie to him! They won’t be hurt in real life but they will feel like they are.”
