good interview!

another tip that would work to grow a following would be to stay unique and create things that most other skins do not make, such as different shading styles or a unique theme that is done consistently ^^

like for me, with glitch skins. people might create glitchy skins but they're a bit more rare to find and is something more used by a small group of people. just joining the masses and doing the same styles as everyone else might just not allow you to expand as a skinner if you follow everyone else's ideas.
This is a really good point. Try to find your "brand", as in things that make your skins stand out as your own.
For example, I make a LOT of skins with backpacks, and it's become the thing people know me for.
Karlly, meanwhile, makes a lot of skins with sweaters, and uses a distinctly soft shading style.
Then you have eclxpsehqtter, who makes intricate outfits with a lot of accessories, especially ties.
There are so many ways you can make a lot of your skins have something in common, and be recognisably yours.
Amazing interview! I agree with what evertide said :D

sometimes i say something and then i realize there was no reason to say it, like this comment
these are actually some really good tips :D

Lovely :]]
Haha! Good >:D

Of course, no worries! I've had loads of fun interviewing with you! :)
Have a fantastic rest of your day!
And now for a BONUS QUESTION!
Would you rather have 1000 likes on one skin, or acquire 500 follows from another?
That's really inspirational! I'm sure a lot of people joined for the same reason, because that's exactly why I did! xD And yes! You're always learning, especially from each other, so you should never give up on your wonderful creations <3
