I can’t make up my mind on this question:
Should I leave skindex?
I kinda hate it, not gonna lie.
Why is there unnecessary drama on a MINECRAFT SKIN WEBSITE?!
DISCLAIMER:
I don’t care how many likes I get on my skins.
Reasons why I want to leave:
1. the whole top page system makes me want to pull my beautiful blonde hair out.
Example: a popular skinner can post a SOLID COLORED SKIN, and it will (somehow?!) get tons of likes and views. Like, come on. I’ve seen solid colored skins that get more likes than probably 80 percent of the skins on here and it’s stupid.
2. The fact that I always compare myself to people on here.
It’s no secret that I’ve been on skindex for like, what now, over 3 years, and I’m still not very good. And there’s those people (long-time skinners making a new account or not!) having BEAUTIFUL first skins.
3. YouTube tutorials.
I’m not saying these are bad. I use them! But when a skinner’s WHOLE style is directly taken from Jingles’ YouTube tutorials and gives Jingles NO credit, it makes me upset.
I could go on forever, but I’m running out of space.
I don’t want to leave because I have friends on here though.
Y’all help me ;-;
