Mei nudged Shadowleaf awake, who groaned and lightly touched her swollen eye, before her eyes flew open and she pawed at the muzzle around her mouth.
Mei was yanked out of the small den and out into a small, round bare patch in the middle of the forest. Stumbling forward, she glared back and saw the large black tom that had knocked her out. Shadowleaf was pressed between two large cats; one with a scarred face and the other with perfectly polished ginger fur.
Thrown forward, Mei let out an OOF as Shadowleaf was shoved on top of her. Trying to turn her head and glare at her captives, Shadowleaf lifted herself shakily and the three cats fanned out around them, just as a slightly small black-and-red tortoiseshell she-cat padded out of the shadows and smirked.
“Welcome,” she murmured, her yellow eyes glinting evily. “My name is Dimstar, and you two are now in Battleclan territory.”
