Hello students!
On the front of the skin, the right uses hueshifting and the left doesn't.
-What is hueshifting?- Hueshifting is a way to make your skins and artwork more vibrant and interesting to look at. Instead of just making your base color a bit darker, you would also change the hue or saturation.
The hue is where the color is on the color wheel.
The saturation is where it is on a scale of pure color to gray. For example, if you're using orange, it would be from the most orangey-orange to gray.
-How to hueshift-
-To make a color darker Using orange as an example, you would first move it slightly towards the red, and then make it a bit darker. While you make it darker, don’t forget to decrease the saturation (move it a little towards gray).

-To make a color lighter Still using orange, to make it lighter, you would move it slightly towards the yellow on the color wheel, then make it a little lighter and increase the saturation slightly ( move it away from the gray).

Whichever editor you use, there’s a basic rule. Got towards blue for dark, and yellow-green for light.

Hope this helped! - Homework in comments.

If you have any questions whatsoever please ask!
-Homework-
Please make a completely hueshifted base.
Put two palettes on the side of the head,(both using the main base color), one hueshifted, (like the rest ofyour skin) and one without hueshifting.
