you can click on the body parts below the body/outer layer buttons and they will hide/show the corresponding body parts so you can fill in the "hidden" parts. for example, when your mc person is walking, their arms will swing from side to side. then you will be able to see the side of the arms and torso, so it is important to fill it in so it isnt invisible
i suggest you watch people draw skins so my explanation makes more sense lol
