just some things i'd like to say

this is very well written imo. there are a lot of immature people on here that don't know how to deal with stealing and/or self promotion so I really hope this helps some people! :'D

if you want some tips,
here are a few :

- don't ask for votes/likes or follows. it makes you come off as quite immature :p asking for suggestions/feedback is fine tho <3
- compliment people! it can help make some new friends! trust me, it makes them feel great. besides, having some friends to chat a little to often is kinda cool imo :D
- if you want more recognition/popularity, maybe join some contests! you have a great chance at winning :D
- maybe make a few fanskins for people you really admire! it shows your appreciation for them :D


and remember, you get better over practice. no one was born a good skinner xD the more you practice, the better you'll get. you can ask people for tips too, if you'd like :D

BUT

when you see someone who has stolen, ask first.
say something along the lines of: 'hey, this isn't your skin, please credit ____'

they might have forgotten, or they may have been blocked. (it's when you write too much in your description. [i think-])

if they delete your comment, or don't credit, then you can probably report them. (it's the little flag in the corner)

do NOT start witch hunts.
witch hunting is when someone spreads word about a skin stealer, or whatever, and then gets people to send hate, and downvote all of their skins, e.t.c.

this can really affect people, not in a good way. it might make them really anxious, or really sad.


try not to downvote their skins either, just tell them what they're doing is wrong and ask them to stop.
