I know that the official self-harm awareness day is technically March 1st, but I don't think just one day of extra awareness should be given for this! :(
This is an issue that is constantly going on for lots of people, especially teens and younger people.
Remember this: You are valid and so are your problems. Doing this won't solve or relieve your problems, they'll be there just as much. You are loved by me and lots of people on the Skindex, I'm sending love you anyone that sees this and needs it!! :) <3 <3

I don't know anyone that uses self harm, and I personally don't. (Maybe ponytails, God. I HATE PULLING THEM OUT) But for a kid like me, this is kinda deep, but I'll keep your tips in mind when I become a weird teen smh. But this is a really special post! :3

And yeah, people still may not listen to you, but find someone who does. Don't be afraid to talk to someone about your feelings, because we all have them and like I said, it's a part of growing up.

Hope you feel much, much better soon and I'm sorry for the loss of your dog. I would cry my eyes out if one of our cats passed away, too. We love you! :D

I have been wanting to go to school for a while now since I have always been Home Educated, But I feel a lot better after talking it out, You have no idea how good it felt when I woke up this morning and for the first time in my life.. I looked in the mirror, And I saw something... Worth while?! Since when?! It feels amazing to be able to do that now, Thank you so much for your support! xoxo

I get what you're going through, and don't worry, because emotions are garbage but this is growing up. I've personally been feeling down a lot lately, but take time to find things you enjoy and focus on those (that doesn't mean you can give up school work or anything else important XD)!

If people aren't listening to you, ask them to stop what they're doing and have a talk. You deserve to get attention, no matter how big or small that attention may be!

And to everyone who is feeling like they need to harm themselves, please know that you're NEVER alone, and seriously, people do care, even if they won't show it.
If you ever need to talk, there will be people there to talk to! Don't feel afraid or anxious to talk about it because you think they'll judge you. Most people will want to help, I promise!

We can't change your minds about anything. You need to do that yourself. But we can offer words of encouragement and love!

Thank you for making this simple but thoughtful post. It's so easy to forget that people go through this and I can only imagine how it effects them.
I don't harm myself personally, but probably know people that do. It's not something that's touched on by a lot of people, as far as I know, and it's wonderful that you talk about it!

Remember, you do it to seek relief but the relief you seek won't be there, it can only be achieved by yourself mentally, not physically.

tbh, self harm is so common, but it seems to have been shunned by society and has become a taboo. nobody talks about it much, which is disappointing considering how often you run across it :/
