Pixiestory!

Ember grunts in pain, kicking at my legs. I manage to leap over them, grinning slightly. A laugh escapes my lips, enjoying her pain.

''You're so adorably pathetic, Little Ripley...'' I kick her slightly before she can scramble to her feet. Her fist connects with my jaw, sending me to the ground in her place. Her arms grip my wrists, cuffing them behind me, and she lets out a brief snort.

''I'M pathetic, Glatia?''
I glance around to the agents that I was supposed to be working with, only to discover that they've fled. Ember's grip is relentless, propelling me to the building where several other spies wait for me.

Standing in the center of them is the woman that's supposed to be Ember's bodyguard. She glares at me under her mask, brandishing a taser.

Well.

Crap.

Worst case....at least she'll be dead.

She looks so much like her mother when she straightens, crossing her arms. ''You lie.''

''Why would I lie? We came all this way to tell you all the things about yourself you didn't know...don't make
me take you with me-''

Her water bottle leaves a mark on my right arm, sending a jolt of pain through my body. I manage to catch her before she takes another swing, flipping her to the ground.

that knowledge, completely confused by the freezing death leeching through her veins. Best case, she'll give up the information without our intervention.

''Weapon?'' she stiffens, eyes going wide. ''There's no weapon-''

''Your wrist?'' I grin, eyes narrowing. ''SPYDER knows more than you think it does...shame your sister was lost, but you have the more important information--''

She bites her lip, glancing at her arm like she's never seen it before. The fear in her eyes is amazing, and the way that she's finally thrown off is even better. I don't bother to tell her about the poison that it will release if all else fails. She can die without

The shock on the face of Ripley's daughter is enough to fill me with glee. Dark hair pulled back, deep brown eyes wide, quivering as she holds a water bottle like a bat. It's clear she won't remember me, and she doesn't know me.

Not at all.

She never did.

I don't bother with a weapon, letting my words fuel me instead.

''Have you caught on to the weapon that the FBI is hiding in you yet, Miss Ripley?'' I can't help but giggle.
