The more drastic the jumps the bolder it appears on a skin, the smaller the jumps the more subtle. and of course the more slots available say your shading style has 6 shades available to it that you can use than the hue shifting is almost always a subtle transition as a result
nowadays consists of only 4 shades for a single color pallete, Like your hair for example the shading you use seems to have just 4 as well. try practicing the hue shifting keeping that in mind, Hue shifting is easier
when you have a long straight line like this to practice with, But when its limited to just a few shades of color you can use is when the real work comes in, Reason why 1/-
preferably I like the one on the torso-
in between the blue and blueish green shifts
the pink one uwu
thats eye catching for me :o
though from my own perspective they do look a bit plain ish ? xwx
they kinda look more like gradients- even though that is hue shifting :>
agreeing with BrittishSkits,
the last pallete does seem a bit off? the last yellow is a bit dark or dull in color uwu
