oh! and adding on to what I said last night, The subtle hueshifting works really well for ombre transitions
anyways im ranting now haha, Tl;DR this looks nice, try working with just the amount available you use in your shading style though (if its 4 or 5, etc. make a line of that many pixels) and have fun mess around with subtle transitions and bigger jumps to find a style you like
the bottom shade, the 2nd one above it, the 2nd to top tone, and a slightly lighter shade of that with just a tiny jump towards yellow on the color wheel.

The more drastic the jumps the bolder it appears on a skin, the smaller the jumps the more subtle. and of course the more slots available say your shading style has 6 shades available to it that you can use than the hue shifting is almost always a subtle transition as a result
is because 4 shades doesnt leave much room unless you choose a certain way to do it, Most commonly done is hueshifting but with drastic changes in between, So for example that green to the right on the front? limited to 4 shades people would choose the very bottom one, the third one above that, the very top one, and an even lighter yellow shade to show off the hueshifting better and make it appear more bold. Alternatively if you want a more sublte sense of hueshifting it would then be 2/-
these are well done! especially if you can use that many colors, However most peoples shading especially
nowadays consists of only 4 shades for a single color pallete, Like your hair for example the shading you use seems to have just 4 as well. try practicing the hue shifting keeping that in mind, Hue shifting is easier
when you have a long straight line like this to practice with, But when its limited to just a few shades of color you can use is when the real work comes in, Reason why 1/-
Nononono your skins are so good! Don't feel bad about yourself everyone had different things they like to do in skins.
Yea it does kinda look like gradients cuz light pink looks like light purple and reds and oranges mix well. Yea I see how that last one is a bit dull probably should've made it brighter and yellower. And the last square was meant to be orange but it probably should've another shade of yellow. Thx for the critique btw.
anytime uwu
preferably I like the one on the torso-
in between the blue and blueish green shifts
the pink one uwu
thats eye catching for me :o
:o the colors are amazing uwu
though from my own perspective they do look a bit plain ish ? xwx
they kinda look more like gradients- even though that is hue shifting :>

agreeing with BrittishSkits,
the last pallete does seem a bit off? the last yellow is a bit dark or dull in color uwu

I think you've grasped it! Probably the only palette that is a bit wonky is the last green palette on the legs. The yellow - kinda brown is a bit jarring but otherwise these are REALLY good!
Ok thank you!
