~which also housed her favorite plant, the sunflower. She braided and twisted some flowers to make a wreath, one that made her reminisce of the Old Days, when the whole forest was full of plants and animals, before the Forest Plague.
Ignoring the ivy and dark spots of her once healthy home, she trudged back to her red maple, up the twisted roots, and back into bed, hoping the Forest would rejuvenate. Wishing the Forest Plague never happened
With her fishing class out of the way, she happily skipped to the Meadows, a giant flat grassland with the Food court. Patches of withered grass, dead and fraying, spotted the Meadows like a virus***. She was starving and traded a moose horn for a mushroom and fish stew and some blackberries. Devouring the food, Annie found a nice patch of grass to eat on, one with the flowers and plants the Meadows were once known for. Once. With her stomach full, she set off deeper into the Meadows, ~

Eventually, she had to drag herself to Benara**. She was a gifted fisherwoman, never missing a chance to strike an unexpected fish.
