Hey guys, another pixel art here talking about that horrible plague that's going around known as COVID-19, or the corona virus.

It started in China, and now it's all over the globe. Pretty sure my state has, like, 8 cases so far.

Just a warning: WASH YOUR HANDS! Sneeze into your elbow or the back of your hand and then disinfect yourself. Wash your hands after using the bathroom and after being outside. Drink plenty of water. These are all things you can do to keep healthy.

I'm serious, guys, this pandemic is NO JOKE. It's killing people.

Well, it took multiple trips to the store for us to get toilet paper, restaurants are drive thru only. Maybe it's just Ottawa and the area around here? And we can go outside, but social distancing is recommended, so basically if you see a friend you just yell to each other across the street. It's not bad, it's just... kinda weird.
Toilet paper isn't even crucial... the only reason people are buying it is due to panic, which causes other people to panic... and it spirals down. There's no panic here as far as I can tell, aside from the few families who buy a little /too/ much. Some restaurants have stayed open and followed precautions, while others have closed. Many people are going to beaches, parks, etc. riding their bikes. It hasn't been much of a change from what I can see, and there's not as much trash, which is nice.
Canada isn't as bad as everyone may think, though, or at least not for me. People can go outside, the government has asked people not to go to public places.
Stores aren't even being sold out here, we're still getting stuff shipped in from other places in Canada -- Canada is the second-largest country, size-wise, not population-wise.

The virus itself also isn't as bas as everyone makes it out to be -- the /panic/ is bad, not the virus itself.

All non-essential services closed, constant toilet paper sell outs, march break extended to at least three weeks and maybe more as a quarantine/social distancing measure... yeah Canadas got it now too

OOF. Sorry for Canada. D:
The last sentence (''I'm serious, guys, this pandemic is NO JOKE. It's killing people.'') might scare people. The COVID-19 also isn't as bad as people say... especially in comparison to the flu (influenza), meningitis, rabies, etc.
I do hope everyone stays healthy and safe, though, no matter what virus is going around.
Luckily, Canada is doing decent and I don't think we're going on lockdown. c':
