You know how many books I checked out of my Elementary school libraries that were the EU back when they were canon?

Exactly! I like them still, they are fine movies for the most part but they are just fan films to me.

Yknow I saw a meme that went like this:

The sequels to me are just fan films. They are fun to watch but not really Star Wars material. It's cool what they can do with CGI but I still think of them as fan films. They even ruined that fact that Luke was supposed to become so powerful that he actually joins the dark side and hunts the Sith from the inside. Instead they made hum old, grumpy, and dead. Plus the new trailer shows all these remains from the Death Star. But that's impossible because it blew up. Now the Obi Wan show though...

Okay, we have an exception. Actually, I liked TFA and TLJ, but Growing up in a time where it was mostly Star Wars-less (at least in terms of the movies, I still watched a lot of Clone wars tho) i think its a bit harder for me to wrap my head around the fact Darth Vaders dead, all my favorite characters were old, And they replaced my then Favorite villain (Rex dangervest is my favorite villain now) with this Emo dude thats not as menacing.

I am a fan of sequels!

Well, (kinda off topic) you know how Kansan Jarrus real name is Caleb Dume? (If you dont know, you know now) I was at a LEGO store the other day, and I looked at the episode IX sets, and I wasnt really excited, Im not really a fan of the sequels, (but who is?) But one of the minifigures on the AT-ST Raider set was CARA DUME....

They have but I already have a skin for Vader anyway. Do you think that would count as OG? It's in the same era. But even if I did do that I would still run out of skins fast. And I can't just keep changes how things work.

That is a good discussion topic... would Rebels count? Its not one of the OG movies, but it is in the galactic civil war era. Really the only problem I have with Rebels is that they Over-dramaticised Vader a bit.
