thats it for the first part! what do you think?
'Well, we had better go. Lilly, did you get your sleeping supplies?' Julia asked. Lilly nodded. They headed onto the sandy path, and then walked on the sidewalk. 'That was nice.' Hannah said, as they approached Magnificent Meadow. 'We should try to go to the beach every day-'and then she paused. She pointed out at the meadow, and all of them rushed to the wooden gate. 'What happened?' Julia asked. All of the colors- were gone.
At first the girls thought it was a fish and ran out of the water, but as they looked closer, they saw Julia swimming towards the shore. 'Wow, Julia. Youre sneaky. Ever thought of being a spy?' Hannah asked. Julia just pretended to sneak away and they giggled, but when she fell they burst into blobs of purple laughter, covered in sand.
Lilly loved drama. She knew just what to say. 'Well I forgot to bring water. Dont judge me.' and with that, Lilly stuck her tongue out at Hannah. Julia watched as they made their way to the water and started splashing each other. She rolled her eyes but sneaked underwater and joined in.
'Ahh,' Julia said. She was laying on her beach towel on the pastel purple part of the sand, by the swaying crystal clear lake. Her friends were right beside her, slapping on more sunscreen and taking a drink of cherry soda. 'Be careful,' said Hannah. She was putting on sunscreen. Of course she was, she was always watching out for everybody. 'You might turn as red as the sand if you dont quit drinking that stuff.' She added.
