The End! I know, gory and dark, but I didn't leave it on a cliffhanger! you shall be allowed to comment now!
Micheal let out a blood curdling scream, ''RUN MACK!!!''Mackenzie let out a loud cry, before listening to him and running outside. she collapsed outside the door.she sat and thought for a minute.she sighed, grabbing a handful of dirt and writing on their car, 'please do what we couldn't and take the car..' with that, she backed up to the store's door, put her handgun up to her temple ''I'm sorry, Micheal..'' she pulled the trigger.
''crud! meatbags!'' Mackenzie yelped, louder than she expected. ''shhi-'' Micheal sighed. mackenzie punched him in the arm ''ow!'' he whined. about a dozen meatbags came from the back. one grabbed Micheal and bit into the back of his neck. Micheal screamed, as did Mackenzie, ''MICHEAL, NO! I-I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU!'' She yelled, ''Mackenzie, go! go before they kill you too!'' he yelled, blood leaking from his mouth. another meatbag bit into his arm, while one more bit into his calf.
responded with a nod. the two drove for a few minutes pulling into an empty parking lot. Micheal got out,as did Mackenzie. Micheal walked over to the food store and went inside. Mackenzie groaned, ''Micheal wait!'' she ran after him. it was pretty quiet, so Micheal walked over to the canned food section, not waiting for his girlfriend. Mackenzie eventually caught up to him. there was loud bangs, clanks, and metallic screaming from the back of the store.
-two years later, the two are dating-
''hey babe?'' Mackenzie asked looking over at Micheal. ''yeah? what's up?'' Mackenzie was in the room they used to store the food. ''we're running low on supplies. we need to go on a supply run.''
Micheal nodded, ''I'll get the guns,''
''Okay, I'll start the car.'' Mackenzie said walking outside with the keys to a black pickup truck.
after a few minutes, Micheal walked out and got into the passenger seat. ''ready?'' Mackenzie asked, to which Micheal
Mackenzie nodded, pulling away from the hug. she sighed, but smiled up at him to show him she was okay. Her smile was not convincing him. he could see the tears, the struggle, her demons dragging her into the shadows of anxiety and depression. Micheal sighed, ''I know it's hard... just follow me. he said, smiling softly. he gently grabbed her hand and began to walk to a small apartment building.
''Wait... Mackenzie?'' He asked, looking down at her. Mackenzie Silver? his voice was vaguely familiar, ''W-Wait, Micheal?!'' Mackenzie asked, surprised, ''I missed you!'' she said, hugging him. Micheal hugged back, ''I'm sorry about this... I know you three were close... ''
state of rest. Mackenzie's vision was blurry from the tears that escaped her eyes. Only when she heard the nearby gunshot did her vision clear slightly. Through the water, she could see the silhouette of a person with a shotgun. Hey, are you okay? are you hurt? did you get bit? an unfamiliar, masculine voice asked. despite how threatened she felt, the voice had a soft, trusting tone. Mackenzie wiped her eyes, her face smearing on her sweater. She looked up, seeing the taller teenager's face.
anything to help the fact that they were suffering. Mackenzie sighed, putting down her notebook, grabbing the small swiss-army knife and unlocking the door. Mackenzie stepped out of the car, and another tear fell. I'm sorry mommy.. she said, her voice high and breaking. The corpse of her mother looked at her, her white shirt stained with bloody saliva. With a whimper, Mackenzie drove the small pocket knife into her mother's temple. The corpse fell to the floor, now put into a final, permanent-
Mackenzie sighed, looking at her notebook. there was a phrase written in it over and over. 'They killed them. the zombies ripped them to shreds.' a tear ran down her cheek, then her nose. it fell onto the notebook, the salty water bleeding into the paper. She couldn't believe her parents were gone. as she looked out the bloody window of her parents car, she saw it. she saw her parents. their eyes were clouded over. they were gone, but the thing that got to Mackenzie, was that she couldn't do-
