Meesha grinned brightly as she saw her little brother catch his wooden ball on fire, and his startled, jumpy reaction. 'Need to control it,' she instructed, knowing that he couldn't understand because he was a hatchling. Hoala had gone to work, and some could say she had the best job. Working for the golden king. King Quath. He ruled in a lovely way, only declaring war in critical times. His decisions were for his dragons, and his dragons only. Meesha turned her head from Peira and the pile of grass next to their house that he lay in, and to the far, tall, glistening gold and silver castle on the small hill in the center of Lockoth, their stunningly huge town. It was beautiful. Stones and jewels of all colors were the source of the buildings... Meesha heard a flap of wind flowing above her, and snapped out of her trance. heavy tail that swayed like a cat's that just eyed it's prey. He had tall, thick horns that leaned black in the slightest way, and he had no ears except for simple holes like an owl or lizard. He had scales under his chin that could easily be mistaken for a beard. His legs were bold and a decent length, with well trimmed claws peeking out. His neck was short, but overall, he was huge. All king dragon's were. He was easily twice the size of Meesha, who, being a young teen, almost had reached
