'Are you, sure, Blondesweety?' Was the shaky and high pitch voice of the pack elder, Windheart, Blondestar's grandmother. The young wolf's eyes were excited, but slightly uncertain. After a long pause, she smiled, and nodded, 'Yes grandmother, I'm ready. I'll miss you all, but I believe returning to my human life for a while is best.' After the steady and sad goodbyes of her aunts, uncles, most of the cousins, and grandmother, she stared deeply and longingly at the puddle of black fuzz standing next to her. His face was dropped, as he frowned and did a slight whimper. 'Will I ever see you again, Blondestar?' She did a very fake and shaky smile, and replied with confidence 'I'll see you in about a month or two. I'll stay a human for two months, and then I'll stay about a week with you.' Blackbear smiled, his tail wagging. 'Yay!' he cried, and ran off to his mother's call. Next, was Sassheart. She glared at her cousin, but smiled. That's the end! Leeonna now lives happily with her adopted mother meg and father, and she visits her wolf family every to months! I hope you liked the story!!
hair, freckles, dirty plain brown T-shirt, blue jeans.... Meg!! 'M-Meg?' Leeonna said softly. Meg's face looked shocked and startled. After a pause, Ms. Brown left the room to get a stack load of papers, and Leeonna seized her chance. 'Ever seen this?' She pointed to her glittering blue jewel hung on her neck. 'Good gracious! Where'd you get that?!' Her husband obviously didn't want a part in this conversation, as he said he'd be in the restroom. 'I've always had it, always will. And no, I
didn't take it from a blonde colored wolf with black paws, snout, and tail.' Meg's face was white, and, after a few minuets of hearing the story, Meg too a deep breath, and replied 'So, that's why the wolf... err... you, could talk, because she... you, were a person!' Leeonna smiled, and after a pause, her voice shook. 'So, d-do you want t-to adopt me?' Meg didn't take a moment to respond, as she smiled ear to ear, 'You're perfect for the family.'
face was clear with honesty, and the woman (they called her Ms. Brown) stood up, and did a weak smile. She was known to forgive and forget quickly. 'You came back on a perfect day, for someone wants to adopt, and their wishes matched you perfectly!' Leeonna's heart skipped a beat many times, as it raced faster and faster. Once led to the room, there was a cute couple. A man with round black glasses and brown hair, with a plain red T-shirt and grey jeans. The woman, looked so familiar. Long, red

oak doors to the orphanage weren't welcoming, as they creaked open. 'Hello?' She yelled. 'Leeonna?!' in ran a woman, her short brown hair blew behind her, as her square glasses bumped against her nose. Her arms wrapped around the 13 year old's waist, as she squeezed her. 'Where were you? I called the police, and nothing! I thought you were dead!' Tears ran down her cheeks, as she recalled the horrific moments. 'I was just... visiting my old lodge.' 'For a week?! Without telling me?!' felt the amulet's power surge through her veins once more. As she made sure to remember all that had happened, she blacked out.

The sun glittered in her eyes, as she felt dizzy and sore. She stood on all fours, but, feeling that unatural, she stood up. Leeonna smiled, knowing that it had worked. Her amulet was glowing in the sun, still around her neck. As she traveled back to the orphanage, she thought of an excuse for why she was gone. *they probably didn't notice,* she thought. is what you feel like you need to do, then don't let anything stop you,' Brownreck smiled. He trotted off, not another word. 'Don't let your father's actions hurt you, dear,' her mother said softly. 'Mom,' began Blondestar, 'What's your wolf name?' 'Whiteriver.' Her soft reply to her question lingered in Blondestar's mind.

As the moon rose, Blondetar howled a wolf song, supposedly supposed to turn her back into her former self. But, was this her former self? Leaving the thought in the dust, she

very serious, bu softened up, 'I've been mean because, if you didn't come along then... I would've been the leader! When your parents were gone, I would've stepped up! I was just so mad...' after a few moments of silence and a feeling of uncomfortable, Blondestar grinned, and softly said 'When I'm gone... you can be alpha.' Her words shot into Sassheart's brain like a steal bullet. 'I-I-I... Th-thanks!' Was the only reply. Finally, was her parents. They walked proudly to their daughter. 'If this
